Expensive Broccoli at ASDA

Whilst browsing ASDA (UK supermarket)'s online shopping thang, I happened upon this -

£6900 per kg.

Regarde the price per kg. there.
Not the best image capture, but all I can say is "? "

(and maybe "WTF?")

And no it isn't photoshopped.

Etsy.com

After hearing about etsy.com for some time, I actually made a few purchases from sellers on the handmade/craft/small buisiness/artisan stuff website. I liked that I received personal communication from the sellers - both of them sent handwritten notes in with the items I ordered. I am looking out for things, other things, to buy on the site, but I am finding it difficult to find stuff that I like. There are a few ways to search the site for items or sellers or whatever, but I don't find them very helpful. Ah well I'm still looking.

The first items I bought were two beautiful felt (I think) brooches from Kate Broughton after a recommendation somewhere on the web, I think it was notcoture.com

Wolf brooch

The second lot of things I bought were some of these beautiful plastic animal rings from soop but bought through etsy, I can't recall where I heard about - oh no, I saw these rings on the online shop lastfootwear.com, er I think I did anyway, I can't remember anything anymore. All spidery, webby business.
soop rings

As I am a duck these things have to be adapted for me to make wear of them, maybe the rings can be adapted into some kind of headwear and I shall find some way of wearing those brooches.

Mmmm, I love the idea of accenting wood textures with bright colours and thin line designs. See more of Dave Seoane’s furniture here davidpaulseoane.com

Wormwood returns with "Red Right Hand"

Wormwood is back after its hiatus of — I dunno it's seemed like a few months but I'm not sure. The drama podcast is return-ed with an episode featuring the demonic possession of a woman called Wendy. Sister George — the priest with a dyed mohican — tries an exorcism...
There are people in town claiming to be from the Roman Catholic Church asking if "the object" is in town and declaring to Sister George that "darkness lurks in Wormwood sister".

There is a long blooper thing at the end of the file.

In the first season each episode touched on many of the people and mysteries of Wormwood, but this second season episodes have focused more on one story per episode. More satisfying if you are interested in that storyline, if you're not then it can be more tedious.

OK. Just wanted to post about something. And am glad to have Wormwood back.

The title of this episode (season 2 episode 09) is called Red Right Hand (google search — should be a link to it there somewhere) which is a song that has been following me around for about a week now.
